First Alliance Church of Raleigh had a vision for planting a church in the town of Cary, NC and a small group began meeting in Jordan Hall.

By December the small congregation had grown sufficiently to officially become Cary Alliance Church.

Reverend Charles Sigmond answered the call to become Cary Alliance's first Pastor.

In April we broke ground for a 4,800 square foot sanctuary built largely by the members.

In February we were able to hold a dedication service and begin meeting in the building.

The Lord brought a new pastor to the church, Rev. Charles Denhart.

By 1980, we had grown to a membership of 200 people.

The church continued to grow and needed more space for classrooms, so the members worked together to build an Educational Building.

We sent out our first international workers, Rick and Tina Sessoms to Indonesia.

In June Rev. Mitchell Gregory became our senior pastor, and shortly thereafter, Thomas Becker became assistant pastor.

Under Mitchell's leadership we continued to grow and eventually constructed a 350-seat sanctuary, dedicated in May of 1993.

In 1994, we sent out Thomas and Miriam Becker to serve as international workers in Russia.

We called Paige Adams to serve as the church’s first Youth Pastor.

Matt and Terry Fisher were commissioned as international workers to Russia.

We commissioned Paige and Angela Adams to serve in Indonesia.

God was continuing to bless our church and we out grew the property on Maynard Road. God led us to a new property on Ten Ten Road and we constructed a new facility.

Michael and Valerie Stephens were commissioned for service in Senegal.

In 2011 God called us to assume responsibility for Faith Alliance Church in Garner as a satellite campus and to help revitalize the work in that location.

God called Scott Eichelberger to become Senior Pastor of First Alliance in Franklin, and we called Thomas Becker, who was returning from Russia, to become our Executive Pastor.

In 2016 we were able to celebrate Faith Community Church becoming an independent church.

In 2016, God called Danny Brymer to become our Worship Pastor and Cameron Taarh to become our Children's Pastor.

In 2018, after sending Ben Marsh to become pastor of First Alliance of Winston Salem, God called Roger Kamstra to become Youth Pastor of Cary Alliance.

In 2020, God opened up new avenues of ministry through live-streaming our services for the first time.

We celebrated our 50th year of ministry and marveled at God's faithfulness and also began to seek him about what his purpose is for Cary Alliance for the next 50 years.

God unexpectedly called our pastor of more than 30 years, Mitchell Gregory, to himself. Continue to pray with us that God will guide our steps as we begin our next phase of ministry.
