Our mission is to partner with you as parents to lead children to become mature followers of Christ. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and songs, children ages birth-5th grade learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their lives every week in CAC Kids.
The youngest CAC Kids (birth - three) will find themselves in a room with toys and games and volunteers who are passionate to teach the truth of God’s Word. Through simple songs and a Bible story, your child will begin to form a foundation for a relationship with Jesus.
Kindergarten and PreK (4-5 year olds) will discover an inviting room that is filled with fun games and toys to be enjoyed and used to connect them with the volunteers. Together they’ll sing and learn motions to worship songs, hear a Bible story, and do an activity to help them remember what they’ve learned.
1st through 5th grade CAC Kids will meet volunteers who are ready to get to know them through fun games and activities. They’ll hear a Biblical message, watch a teaching video followed by an activity and talk about what they’ve learned and how to apply it to their lives.
When you come into the church, you will find a check-in station at the nursery desk and the security desk. You are welcome to use either station. For visitors, you will simply follow the link on the screen for new visitor registration and fill out the information on the screen. You will then be provided with two stickers – one for you to keep and the other one to go on your child(ren). It is important to keep the sticker with you and that your children keep it with them because this is how volunteers will know they are releasing the child to the right person. A volunteer will be at the nursery desk if help is needed with check-in.
All our workers and volunteers are screened, and background checked. We also adhere to the Safe Policies of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We also, only release children to the parent who dropped them off, or a designated adult with the child's tag receipt.
For children in the nursery, parents will take a pager. If the nursery workers need a parent, you will be paged. For children in preschool – elementary, volunteers and teachers will notify you vie phone/test message. Your phone number will be on the sticker for your child that you receive at check-in so volunteers will always have it.
