We, at Cary Alliance Church, are a family. And like a family, we do life together… and we do death together, too. GriefShare is a 13-week, biblically-based grief recovery support group developed by Church Initiative. It utilizes a small group setting, video-based presentations by grief recovery experts, group discussion, and a workbook with daily reading and writing suggestions. Each session is about 90-minutes long.

Whether or not you participate in person, GriefShare offers a free daily e-mail devotional, A Season of Grief, that covers and reinforces the same material used in the class.

The GriefShare materials are designed for adults and mature youth. However, we recommend another program for children and youth called Seasons for Growth produced by Good Grief. While we don’t yet offer this program at our church, their web site contains helpful resources.
