Like scattering seeds in an empty field, when we share the good news of the gospel, we never know where and how it will grow. But we must sow abundantly to harvest faithfully. At times it might seem like nothing is happening, but during those moments we pray expectantly and wait. As time passes, God works underground to make the seeds sprout and grow. He is faithful to grow the seed as we are faithful to work the soil. As followers of Jesus we have been commissioned to make disciples of all nations. We are an alliance of believers, of churches, united around God's mission both going and sending, until all the world hears and our King returns.
